The Organisation settings page is your central hub for every organisation you belong to. From here you can create new organisations, switch between them, update branding and details for the one you currently manage, control whether resources can be shared externally, and handle incoming membership requests and invitations — all in one place.

Understanding the Organisation List

When you open Settings → Organisation, you see one card per organisation you belong to. The card for your currently active organisation is marked with an Active badge and a coloured border so it is easy to spot at a glance. Each card displays:

Switching Organisations

If you belong to more than one organisation, click any card that is not currently active to move into it.
1

Click the organisation card

Select the card for the organisation you want to switch to. A Switch Organisation? confirmation dialog appears.
2

Confirm or cancel

  • Click Confirm Switch to move into the selected organisation. All views reload to reflect the new context.
  • Click Cancel to stay in your current organisation.
Switching organisations reloads all views. Any unsaved changes in the current organisation will be lost, so save your work before switching.

Creating a New Organisation

You can create as many organisations as you need. When you create one, you automatically become its owner.

Open the creation dialog

Click New Organisation in the top-right corner of the Organisation settings page.
2

Enter an organisation name

Type a name for your new organisation. Names must meet the following rules:
3

Create the organisation

Click Create. Nexalytica generates a URL-safe slug automatically and immediately switches you into the new organisation.Click Cancel at any point to close the dialog without creating anything.
You can rename your organisation and add a logo after creation using the Edit Organisation dialog — no need to get the name perfect right away.

Editing the Active Organisation

Only the currently active organisation can be edited. Open the edit dialog by clicking the pencil (edit) icon on the active organisation card.

Click the pencil icon on the active organisation card. The dialog opens pre-filled with the current values.
2

Adjust any of the following fields:
3

Save your changes

Click Save Changes to apply the updates, or Cancel to discard them.
The pencil icon only appears on the active organisation card. To edit a different organisation, switch into it first, then open the edit dialog.

Managing External Sharing

The Sharing section of the Organisation settings page contains an org-wide toggle that controls whether resources can be shared externally via signed links.

Enabled

Members can generate signed links to share resources with people outside the organisation.

Disabled

External sharing is blocked. All previously generated signed links are immediately and permanently revoked.
To change the setting, click the External sharing toggle. The label updates to Enabled or Disabled to reflect the current state.
Turning external sharing off instantly revokes every outstanding signed link across the entire organisation. Recipients who previously had access via a link will lose it immediately. This action cannot be undone — affected links cannot be restored; new ones must be generated once sharing is re-enabled.
Permissions: Only organisation Owners and Admins can change the external sharing toggle.

Accepting and Rejecting Invitations

If you have been invited to join an organisation, or if your email domain matches an existing organisation, a cross-org panel appears on your Organisation settings page.
When another organisation has sent you a direct invitation:
  • Click Accept on the invitation card to join the organisation immediately.
  • Click Reject on the invitation card to decline the invitation.

Approving and Rejecting Join Requests

When someone requests to join your organisation, you can review and act on those requests from the Members list.
1

Go to the Members list

Navigate to Settings → Members. Pending join requests appear in the table with a Pending request status. Hover over the name icon to read any note the requester included.
2

Open the actions menu

Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the pending request row.
3

Approve or reject the request

Approving and rejecting join requests requires Owner or Admin permissions in the active organisation.
