Nexalytica’s notification system keeps you informed about the events that matter to you — resources shared with you, changes to your organisation or departments, and activity from your agents. All notifications arrive in the bell feed in real time, and selected events also trigger emails so you’re never caught off guard even when you’re not actively using the platform. Every signed-in user has their own personal bell; notifications are never shared between users.

The notification bell

The bell icon sits in the top navigation bar. A numbered badge on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have. The badge displays the exact count up to 9, and shows 9+ when you have ten or more unread items. Click the bell to open the notification panel. Opening the panel marks all currently visible notifications as read and clears the badge for those items.

Notification panel controls

Notification events

The table below lists every event that can generate a notification, which tab it appears in, and whether it also triggers an email.
Join request notifications (new requests, approvals, and declines) are only visible to Org Admins. Regular members receive notifications relevant to their own activity only.
The System tab is reserved for future platform-level notifications. No events are routed there currently.

Managing your notifications

Dismissing a single notification

Hover over any notification row to reveal the × (Dismiss) button on the right side of the row. Click it to permanently remove that notification from your feed. Dismissal is immediate and cannot be undone.

Dismissing all notifications in a tab

Switch to the tab you want to clear (for example, Agents), then click Dismiss all. Every notification visible in that tab is removed. Notifications in other tabs are not affected.
Use Dismiss all on the All tab to clear your entire feed at once after you’ve reviewed everything.

Loading older notifications

The panel loads notifications in batches. Scroll to the bottom of the panel to automatically load the next batch of older notifications. Continue scrolling to work back through your full notification history.

Permissions summary

Notifications are always personal — you only see notifications addressed to you. There is no shared or team-wide notification feed.
