This section helps you organise your organisation into departments, assign people to them, and manage their roles. Departments are where your resources — dashboards, data sources, chats, and agents — live.

The departments list

When you open Departments you see every team as cards. Each card shows the department’s colour dot, name and description, a membership summary (Total / Managers / Employees), the current department admin, and a link to manage members.

Inviting and roles

  • Department roles are Manager and Employee.
  • When you add an existing organisation member, they always start as Employee.
  • The Admin role for departments is coming soon.
  • People you invite by email appear as Pending with the role they’ll take on once they accept.

Who can use it

  • Organisation Owners and Admins can create, edit, and colour departments across the whole organisation.
  • Department Admins manage membership inside their own department (coming soon as an assignable role).
  • Managers and Employees do not manage the department’s roster.
